Coffee flavors change depending on brew method. Sweet, bitter, or sour flavors All come from how coffee is extracted. Below are some guidelines to help you find the proper extraction and get a great cup the 1st time..
Measure
start with a 1:15 Brew ratio
1G coffee: 15G water
28g water =1fl oz

always use water just off boiling. use your preferred method.
Grind
always use fresh ground beans
grind specific to brew method
auto Drip: sea salt
french press: pretzel salt
pour over: kosher salt
